Sorry for bumping this old thread, but it’s really the best place for this question:
I work for Samsung, so I get a discount on Harman Audio products. I thought it would be a good time to ask which of these two speakers, as well as the F228be and JBL 4367 would be the best in my room/listening situation.
(I’m also aware that the Salon 2 has been discontinued, and it’s presence on the discount portal doesn’t mean it’s available)
My room is (crudely) diagrammed below. It’s 9 feet tall, so the total volume is ~3400 cubic feet. My current setup is a pair of BMR Philharmonirors on stands and a Speedwoofer 10S MKII.

My source is a laptop that goes to a DDRC-24 via USB, then a SMSL SA-50 via RCA. I use this setup for music and general TV/ video watching. I use the DDRC-24 for room correction as well.
With that intro out of the way, what would be the best option? I’m fine adding subs to all speakers mentioned
Also, would I benefit from source upgrades? My dB meter app on my phone has my listening levels ranging from 60-75 depending on my use (media quieter, music louder). The consumerist in me wants to upgrade to a Minidsp Flex balanced with some Buckeye Amps monoblocks, but I’m pretty sure the difference wouldn’t be audible at my listening levels. The setup would be more visually appealing though.
