Good morning everyone!
Is there a way to have a S/PDIF Toslink input on a computer in order to use a ADC that has an S/PDIF Toslink output?
Thanks.

PS: I don't care if the latency is huge.

There are sound cards and USB interfaces with coax and/or toslink inputs, from cheap unbranded ones to pro audio level. For the pro ones the ADAT inputs will often operate as toslink inputs.

It's built into many computer motherboards.

It's an out on many motherboards. Older mac's and NUC's have Toslink out as well
Is this a typo? I have an old small form factor box that has a combined mic in and toslink in mini-jack - is there something similar on some Macs and NUCs?

Yes. The newer Macs and NUC's don't have it.
