S.M.S.L SU-1 to Desktop and Mac

I'm using my s.m.s.l SU-1 to the desktop using usb-c connection, next week i'll need to connect a Mac mini. I still have the coaxial and optical slot free, what would it be the best way to connect the dac to the Mac?

Do you want to connect both the Mac and the PC simultaneously?

USB is the best way to connect the DAC to the Mac Mini. I don't think it's possible to use coax or optical out of the mac mini via the headphone output.

That would be ideal, not working at the same time but just switching from usb to coaxial/optical when i need it

Then I'd use a Hifime UT23 or Cubilux SPDIF Converter to connect the Mac via Optical.

Hey, did you try this and are you able to control the volume via the system controls of your mac?
