Hello !

Can anyone confirm if you use the left and right pre out for stereo subs ??

Why is there 2 mono sub outputs?

Would this be suitable for Minidsp flex at later stage?

Connecting subs to Minidsp flex and the speakers with the Rotel.

I understand Rotel has not set fixed low pass filter -meaning you’d need subs like SB2000 PRO.

I’ve also been considering the Marantz stereos 70. It has 2 sub outputs (unfortunately not independent.) You’re out luck … But 2 SVS subs or 1 with Marantz now pass filter which is from 40-240 Hz. The 70 has pre out also .

Can I then connect the Ultra streamer pre amp ? As an active crossover . This has to be easier option for me .

Yamaha AS701 is beginning to be flaky.
At times no sound from coax . At times it turns it self off while switching it on ! ! !

The speaker terminals are not of best quality-never has. They’ve always been bit loses while connecting one cable , but each one has begun to move lot more then before .

Rotel is on sale at moment.

I do not need any of extra features it provides, hence I’ve considered used AS1200.

New Marantz Model 50. If someone could tell me if Minidsp of some can be connected to the above amps mentioned

Model 50 with the Wiim Pre amp streamer… I’ve read the Model 50 is more powerful then it’s conservative watts .

I’ve tried different coax cables and tried wiggling the cable , the sound is stable . So my guess is the Yamaha own digital chip freezes. I’m no expert.

It’s not my streamer .

I’ve also noticed the CD RCA terminals moves while connecting cables with switch craft plugs . I own a pair of Mogami 2549 with those connections.

I never thought Yamaha had so poor build performance quality . It could be lemon of course.

But if you compare Yamaha own chassis vs others which cost same , you we’ll notice Yamaha saves money by not using the best chassis

AS1200 is something else .

If someone could recommend me an AVR amp with active room correction (as I understand it ) it can be a myth stereo is better .

Thanks ! !

As an example why the Yamaha coax cuts the sound and there is sound .

Hence I’ve been looking at the Rotel or new Marantz Model 50. I know the Marantz can accommodate low level and high level subs.

My main question and concern is any of this bullet proof for Minidsp flex .
