I want a Roon Ready streamer to go my Denon A1H and am unsure if the streamer matters if you're connecting it to an AVR via digital coaxial? It's just a transport in that scenario, or would an eversolo be audibly better than a wiim pro?
I have a Denon A1H that has ES9018K2M DAC so I assume digital out to the Denon is the best signal path.
The alternative to a Wiim Pro would be an Eversolo and using the Eversolo DAC over the avr DAC, then analogue xlr/RCA. However - this would then need to go ADC to use the Denon room correction, unless I went direct/pure direct - so a trade off.
