Hi All
Firstly, thanks for all the feedback on my previous posts. With the exception of a couple of people the constributions were very helpful....

Further to my last post, I've purchased the MA-1 mic and carried out some room correction with my Neumann KH120ii's.
The results were excellent and subsequently I'm now considering options for my larger monitors which are currently Kali IN8v2

I know that these are budget monitors but they're pretty good and there's nothing better in that price range from what I know. I've been eyeing up Genelec 8431's or similar but they're not an impulse buy.....

So my question is.....would room corrections solutions such as ARC or similar be a cost effective way to maximise the performance of the Kali's or is it "you get what you pay for", and DSP equipped speakers such as the Genelecs of Neumanns are a better if more costly option?

Has anyone had any experience of using budget or cheap room correction products?

Any thoughts would be welcome...

There are plenty of free DSP options out there, depending on what your source is. If it’s a OC or Mac, you’re golden.

I would try Dirac Live 3 with the Kalis
Most probably your jaws will be on the floor when you hear the difference (mines are always there at least :) )
There is a 14-day full feature trial so there is no risk whatsoever
