Room correction and good sound like a wiim amp ultra but (more) inputs like a eversolo play

If you want the flexibility of more inputs and cheap then why not just stick a pre-amp with the connectivity you need in front of the Wiim?

Thats not a problem, how ever if i want to get a new amp i would like all of the input i need 2-3 analog + 2 digital and bluetooth

If you want instead an all in one unit you'll have to specify exactly what your requirement is or we're all wasting our time.

More inputs, aut room correction, better sound, around 50 watt in 8 ohm or 100 watt in 4 ohm, under 1000 euros, not to big

An amp or mabye combination that sounds better than a wiim amp ultra + more inputs MAX is 1000 euros which is just around 40% more than a wiim amp ultra
There is going to be nothing matching your requirements as no amplifier, however expensive, is going to sound better than the Wiim amp ultra, provided you aren't driving it into clipping.

So I suggest again just putting pre-amp of some sort in front of the Wiim, or even just the aforementioned passive switcher if it is only extra analogue inputs you require.

Technics SU-GX70 or Onkyo Icon A-50

Yes i know it's much more expensive than my buget but still fare from a Lyndorf TDAI-1120

Comparing A-50 with NR7100 we see, that you can get less while paying more. But at least with A-50 you don't have to pay for multiple amps, HDMI switch, Atmos licence or full bandwidth Dirac ;)

Again, those won't actually sound better than the Wiim, but if you like them and they provide the facilities you want then by all means by one of them and enjoy it.

Don't own a wiim amp ultra but wiim amp pro

I want to have something a little better and the wim amp ultra is better but not by alot since it's mostly do to the dac it sound better

More power is nice to have but i don't need more power

I have my amp limited to 85% when the volume is 100% and it's perfectly loud for my needs, sometimes just a little to loud at 100% with a 85% limit

Found a IOM Ultra that would be perfect for a wiim streamer

But is that the only power amp option in a compact size for a wiim streamer ?

https://internetofmusic.nl/product/iom-ultra/ €510 is not bad for the 250 watt in 4 ohm model

Couldn't find the thread where you can recommend amirm products to test, any got a link so i can suggest the amp ?

After reading about the wiim AMP ultra, it's better than a wiim amp pro but by as little as it is, it's not worth buying over keeping my amp pro

I also think the vibelink isn't enough of a sonical improvement over a wiim amp pro and wiim amp ultra

I don't like the idea of having 2 volume controls instead of one or fixed out on the amp disabling volume control and using the volume knob on a wiim ultra

To get room correction for all inputs, i also hate using a wiim ultra with an integrated amp that has double the inputs of the wiim ultra but you only use one on the integrated amp that match what you use as output on the wiim ultra

Life is compromise :)

Either spend a lot more (even then, options are limited) or accept some redundancy. You'll have forgotten about any unused inputs after the first week anyway.

What's the saying ... 'perfect is the enemy of good' ... something like that.

Have preout and main in i think i could use the inputs on the amp + on the wiim streamer (what ever sounds best)

Unless im going for some used nad integrated, where do i find a new amp with main and and preout (may have a diffrent name like on a audiolab 6000a pre and power)

3 analogue sources to Tisbury Audio passive pre (3 in 2 out) to minidsp pocket ADC to dac/amp of choice digitally (by coax or optical). 2 remaining digital inputs on dac including a Usb. Way under $1,000.

Tisbury Audio passive pre to minidsp pocket ADC to dac/amp of choice digitally

why 3 units ? Where is the streamer ? Where is the room correction ?

If the amp had room correction and a streamer why would i need a Tisbury Audio passive pre to minidsp pocket ADC ? (The Tisbury Audio passive pre to minidsp pocket ADC obviously don't have a stream nor does it have room correction)

2 remaining digital inputs on dac including a Usb

If the amp don't has room correction, a streamer why would i need usb on dac/amp combo ?

This way i would have to use 3 unit and no room correction, streamer right ?

Again if the amp had room correction and a streamer why would i need a Tisbury Audio passive pre to minidsp pocket ADC ?

all sources to an amp like this one pre out and amp in

Streamer preout to line in and line out to amp in (i don't think a wiim streamer has fixed out (volume, deativate volume control)

Then in theory i connect all to the amp and before it reaches the amp it goes out of the amp into the streamer and then it goes into the amp

If i wanna use bluetooth on the streamer (think bt on the amp requires a module connected to the back), do i just activate it on the streamer an mabye choose an input on the amp with not source ?

If i use an input from my cplayer and bt from the streamer i could hear both if i play something on my phone ?

Update

I have gone for a wiim vibellink + ultra streamer

Question does any know of a super short trigger cable 20/25cm ?

Power cable, yes im one of them who likes to have an upgraded power cable, is there any out there ? Audioquest NRG-X3 C5 is hard to find and chord takes mabye a month before there cable is out for sale

Both amps have volume control, what would be best ? Amp max (or close to max) and adjust the sound from the streamer or streamer max volume and adjust volume from the amp

Use the Ultra for most of your volume control because it has the remote. Keep Vibelink at like 80%.

Has any tested the sound, noise from the combo when doing both ?

It's fine, that is how I run my system as well.

To optimise it a bit:
  • Turn your amp down to zero.
  • Turn your Ultra/source to max while playing a loud piece (it will still be silent at this point).
  • Slowly turn up the amp until it has reached the maximum volume you will normally ever want to listen at. Either mark that volume knob position or physically tape it to prevent accidental change and then leave it alone (this protects both your speakers and your ears.).
From now on make any volume changes on the Ultra or your source.
