Everything from RME sounds like $hit. They sound like ADATs = harsh, spitty highs like an air hose. Good from the mids down though = solid =)) I can literally tell sometimes just from listening when a recording was done using RME gear. It's distinct in that ADAT way HAHA Lindemann is an example...
:facepalm:

@amirm, we do need a bigger facepalm emoji.

Glad you told us.

I thought mine was excellent, but after reading your post, I've thrown it in the bin.

I would have felt guilty giving away such a terrible device, let alone selling it.

Keep up the good work.

Amir, I like the cut of this guy's jib. Surely he should be made a moderator?

Ditto.

Bye bye RME.

Time to bring my old Schiit Mjolnir home from the office so I can finally use something good for my cans.

Thank goodness for posts like this.

Wait....what :eek::eek::eek:

I was just about to pull the trigger (seriously)

Dood McMan...."harsh, spitty highs like an air hose....."

FFS....I'm not gonna go near this with a 10ft barge pole. Now I see why there are a few early Black Friday deals out here.

Dood McMan...."I can literally tell sometimes just from listening when a recording was done using RME gear."

Oh my:rolleyes: any suggestions other than this unit?

:D
