RME ADI-2/4 Pro SE

Having a high-voltage power supply in an already hot chassis is never a good idea. In addition, reliability problems (as PS is the most common point of failure). I bought LNI-2 and couldn't be happier.
I put some heatsinks on the underside of my ADI-2 Pro, well first I put some taller feet on it and then I put the heatsinks underneath. Huge difference. The screen used to be super hot all the time, it's been playing music for about an hour and is still slightly cool feeling even.
Regarding the custom cable discussion earlier, they make DB9 cable housings with screw-clamp terminals, no soldering needed (although I could!). I've done it for AES and SPDIF coax both in/out for various reasons, easy peasy.
