Is there any benefit to the dps-2 for an rme adi 2/4 as far as sound improvements, measurements via the adc and/or measured performance of the dac itself (even if not audible)? Can it help the noise leakage of the psu into the rest of my system?

My setup makes the wall wart kind of inconvenient and unfortunately the dps2 is an expensive fix, but coupled with other benefits would help me make a decision to buy one

The wall adapter supplied with the device gives the specifications on the manufacturer's website. The ADI-2/4 Pro SE is a very overengineered device with respect to audibility (because tech aficionados made it), so no reason to worry about the DPS-2 unless perhaps if you like to do measurements.

Here is the answer from the manufacturer (and the manual). The DPS-2 is possibly an engineering solution for measurements, not an audibility solution for listening. That is because AC mains from a wall outlet can be unstable in rare cases.
The PS can be used with any of our units. And no, there is no difference in sound.
