This suite was manned by the US distributor and fellow woodworker. He said he built that skyline diffuser himself out of 400 board feet of pine!!! Man he has far more patience than I do.

Speakers are licensed from Japan and built in Europe right now but he plans to do the manufacturing himself in the future.

He had also built all the stands.

Towards the end, he is holding a ball of carbon that is milled out of square stock and used as isolation for his platforms. Because carbon dust is explosive, special CNC machine was used with a vacuum to keep the dust at bay.

And oh, I have never seen so many transformers stuffed into one box!

I played Philip's CD sampler here.

Suzanne Vega LP rip sounded very nice and natural.

Next was Depeche Mode for bass: Quite excellent for an 18 watt amplifier! He said the speakers were 97 dB efficient.

This was the best tube sound I had heard at the show.
