REW RTA settings for adjusting subwoofer phase

Can someone suggest the correct REW RTA settings to use when using the RTA to adjust the phase of a subwoofer to match the main speakers? The REW Help File tells what each setting does but not which ones to use. Searching this site comes up with bits and pieces but not a whole set. I clearly have something wrong as the process isn’t working. Thanks.
 
RTA will only show amplitude response, so is of limited use for matching phase.

To measure phase, group delay etc, use the default Measure dialog (sine sweep).

These are the instructions I was given by Keith_W

1. Set up the mic at the listening position.
2. Set up REW's generator to play pink noise from ALL the speakers.
3. Pull up REW's RTA view.
4. Adjust the phase of your subwoofer until the RTA is as flat as possible.

Ah sure, that works.

Make sure the Generator does not go above -0dBFS pk (the small number below).

Oh and Periodic Pink noise with Rectangular FFT Window and matched FFT/Sequence length (32k here), will only work if there's not too much clock drift between DAC and ADC.

If you don't get stable readings, you'll need to switch to Hann window or something. In that case you can bump up the Overlap some to get a higher refresh rate.
