REW reporting interfaces as 16 bit when they are set to 24 bit

I have a strange issue with REW.

In the status bar, it reports "96kHz 16-bit in, 16-bit out" when all of my interfaces are configured for 24 bit.

This is using the Java driver (I can't use ASIO as my interfaces lack ASIO support). This is resulting in skewed measurements.

I suppose I could try ASIO4ALL however I've not had much success with that in the past.

I'm running Windows 7.

All other testing software (Arta, Audio Tested, Virtins, WaveSpectra etc.) report / use the correct (24 bit) configuration, and the test results are as expected.

Use exclusive I/O .

Edit: and tick both options at the second window.

Thanks for the reply.

I just tried this, but it's still reporting 16 bit for both in and out.

In REW's soundcard settings, when set to Java, each device should be listed once with the normal device name and once with "EXCL: *device name*"

Choose EXCL for both I and O.

Edit:
This requires 64-bit REW IIRC

That did the trick, thanks so much!
