How is the ratio between bass and higher tones?
The most important thing is how they sound to you.
Is it high-low tone ratio balanced while you listen to your music?

To clarify, that image is a comparison of 4 speaker positions, but showing the left speaker only. My current configuration is the one at 32".
I did move my chair even closer. I've been testing a variety of musical selections and everything sounds great including tracks with strong bass aspects.

Let me see a little better now.
32 loos good,38 you lost that picks ih highs, but you get that narrow diip around 100hz.
It's all about preference after all ...
