Hi all,
I'm trying to get my bedroom 2.1 speaker system in-line with the house's "Disco Smile" U-curve using the following tools:
- UMIK-2 microphone, positioned 90 degrees to the ceiling, near the height of the listener’s ear
- REW software
- MiniDSP 2x4HD playback device
Here's what I did with the target house's response curve:
Now, I have the options to measure my speaker system with REW in the several ways:
- sweep tone + averaging +1/3 octave smoothing
- RTA 1/48 averaging + mic move 2 feet around listening area
What is my best option to go further?
