True. Is that something that is forbidden over here?
There is nothing wrong with listening, so long as proper controls are in place. Any listening that lacks matched levels and is blind will be met with skepticism.@Putter
We should prove the opposite, then -
That is, why aren't there speakers that can have slightly different behaviors, both among different brands and even depending on the amplifiers connected?
Or have different impressions based on the type of amplifier (a tube amplifier will sound different from a Class A/B, just as A/B will sound different from a Class D amplifier). I agree that technical graphics are important, but even simply listening by ear can provide a lot of information. Then we risk going completely off topic.

I'm probably used to hearing very precise detail when listening to classical music. I'm definitely not saying the Cambridge is a bad product, in fact, it's fabulous in many respects. However, I have the same feeling of uncertainty, especially on some tracks. With other genres, I don't notice this slight "lack" in some frequencies; it just gives me the impression of being a little "flat and linear."
I'll try it again this weekend, but then I have to decide, otherwise I'm out of time to return it.
Thank you very much.
Which is perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with listening, so long as proper controls are in place. Any listening that lacks matched levels and is blind will be met with skepticism.
According to the spec here, there is a USB output. If your computer can record that, then it’s worth a try.I don't know if this question can be answered here, but how could I use the EVO 150 and a Rega Planar 3 to record Vinyl records. Would I only have the option of using the pre-out output... or could any USB output work connected to the computer? Thanks.
Thanks, but both are inputs. There is no output (USB). One is used to connect a PC and Mac to send music directly from the computer. The other is for connecting a hard drive, for example.According to the spec here, there is a USB output. If your computer can record that, then it’s worth a try.

My apologies, I misread the details. (Glad I quoted the source, anyway!). Hope you find a solution. Thanks, but both are inputs. There is no output (USB). One is used to connect a PC and Mac to send music directly from the computer. The other is for connecting a hard drive, for example.
