Pairing this with the Khadas Tone board is probably the endgame for me
From what I understand here, @300 ohm the O2 clips at 0.11 watts with THD+N of ~0.0015%, whereas JDS Atom does not clip till 0.25 watts with THD+N of 0.0005%.I'll be curious to see how power compares to O2 and EL AMP.
Is the knob also plastic or aluminium? The enclosure is plastic
Amir is turning into a JDSLabs shill......every audiophile with a headphone needs to get one of these.

At what output level?what's the SINAD of high gain? Thanks
Sure but let's wait for the formal release of the product.Could we also get a pic under the hood too? Both Magni 3 and Liquid Spark use discrete designs, curious to see if JDS Labs went for the same route as well.
Looks like @March Audio will have to drop the projected price on his HPA-1.
This is also what I am worrying. The best way is forum members in US sending their equipment to amirm for review.Generally speaking, with this kind of preview-review, there a risk that the manufacturer sends a "golden unit" to @amirm, I think.
Test of a unit bought on the market is a little bit more valuable, to me.
On the other hand, we have also seen manufacturer send in "brown unit", hahahaha

Why? You just need khadas and atom, and that's it for your headphones/2.0 speakers. You're set4life.This forum is really unhealthy for my student wallet
