A thesis sent to me in confidence, I felt showing a small excerpt would be OK. I would personally vouch for the quality of work and results. It's the same DAC in the Schiit BTW.

The Analog Devices dac in the Schiit was designed for instrumentation use and never intended to be used without deglitching - a process whereby the dac's previous output sample's analog value is held while the dac receives and settles to the next sample value.
