43198 should have slightly higher 2nd and 3rd but no higher order harmonics.

I just tested the first 10 samples from the new production 9038SG3. No or light-load(300ohm should be similar) 3rd harmonic within -140..-128db range, average about -133db. THD+N reading 0.00015%. Quite consistent results

No, 9038D has better sinad/TDH+N but only due to lower N(noise). Some 9038D units have THD+N 0.00012%(because of dynamic range over 125.5db(A)), as I mentioned, ES9038Q2M has undocumented tolerance, and some samples are WOW, some so-so and I throw them out.

How did you tell which is WOW and which is so so? Do you have to measure them one by one? That is a lot of work to do.

@IVX I find the default microsoft driver better with volume than the comtrue one for Windows 10 in terms of power deliver and granularity of control.
