Tidal (both desktop and iOS apps) supports Chromecast streaming directly. What if you cast to the Chromecast audio using Tidal directly? It'd be interesting to see those results because that's how I do it! :)
Unless they have a test tone on Tidal, I won't be able to test using it. I wonder if there are commercial CDs with test tones on them that are on Tidal....

Good to know this works well too, especially via ToSlink. I was going to get a DAC with this and set it up with some speakers that I have sitting in storage.

Is there any way to know if Spotify playback are bit-perfect using this device?

Just wondering at what stage bit-imperfectness is audible?

I use a CC bridge (most likely this) for Daphile and it works very well.
It's indeed most likely this, as Daphile is LMS on a dedicated Linux-based OS, and there's only one CC bridge for LMS. I just recently started to use it, having bought a CC Ultra for Netflix duties and it's really rock solid :)

Hi @amirm , did you manage to test this?
Hi there. No I didn't. I have such a deep pipeline of gear to test that I have not had to go back to retest previous products.
