Wyrd is literally just a USB hub with one output.
You could use anything but that overpriced garbage to have the exact same effect.

Presumably it contains a stable clock and comes with a linear power supply/voltage regulators vs. crappy switching mode walwarts that USB hubs usually come with. The claim it can be of positive effect if placed between a crappy PC USB port and inferior USB DAC interface has some merits. It is not overpriced more than any other audio gear, in fact it is overpriced less.

I mean literally it makes no difference. Topping used USB power input with a D50 to beat literally every piece of schiit gear on the planet.
Which just goes to show, that you actually don't need linear power for anything in the audio world.

But yes possibly it might benefit incase that the computer itself has horrible USB power. Which honestly is only a few computer's these days unless your motherboard physically has a problem.

Does the D50 have anything to do with a Cheap Ebay CM108 Bare Board USB DAC?

No, but at the same time these things which make differences are mostly myths pushed by companies like Schiit who ofcourse have a horse in the race (ie: selling their own gear to fix these mythical problems).
Schiit themselves actually explains to you that a $5 USB hub does the same thing as what they are doing.
So really I don't think that it would make a difference unless the machine itself has horrible USB power, and at the same time the performance of the DAC wouldn't really be increased enough to make up for the fact that its using 20 year old IC's which were mostly likely from computer recycling centers, such as how they can hit this price point.
