Sounded very good to me. Bass apparently goes down to the high 30s with MSRP of 7k and projected release by the end of the year. Will upload photo tomorrow when I get home.

Not a lot of detail here. Wild guess: looks like an F206 with Be tweeter.

I don't find that surprising.

Even speaker makers that have active models in their lineups (KEF, Dynaudio, etc.) and are fully capable of making flagship actives seem to believe that the top tier audiophile models are preferred to be passive by their dealer base and/or customers.

Is that a tri-wire / tri-amp terminal I see? Or just a bi?

I think my guess was close enough.

Yea, curious to know how they would perform and where that 328 would land with their studio2 speakers out there.

The specs for the 328Be are kind of odd, with a high -6 dB at 44 Hz, not great bass extension for a speaker that big. 91dB sensitivity is good, but not so amazing it would be worth losing a half octave of bass. Maybe it's the home theater model designed to be used with a sub?

C426be looks kinda weird compared to the C208. Anyone think 4x6.5" woofers would cause any destructive interference?

It looks like they also clipped the waveguide but only on the c426be to make it a shorter speaker. I'd like to see if it causes changes in the measurements compared to the standard waveguide.

At the presumptive lowpass frequency, no. I think going 4x6.5" over 2x8" it's a smart move to get a little more volume displacement for dynamic headroom, while making the cabinet shorter. Given how wide TVs are, the width should not be an issue. The proportions here are more sensible IMO than the standard version's proportions.
