Do we have measurements of the BMR tower? How similar is the dispersion pattern to the BMR?(@Dennis Murphy) Looking back at @hardisj's BMR review, and F226Be review, it's clear just how much wider the dispersion of the former is. Subjectively, Erin seemed more enthusiastic about the Revel. The Revel is a bit more neutral, but this was also true of the M2 in comparison to the Salon2, and the BMR has even wider dispersion than that. OP hasn't responded yet, but I would definitely be taking a look at the BMR tower. It also has better extension than the F226Be, and maybe even more than the F328Be.
Are there even any photos of the BMR tower? It’s not mentioned on his site.

Here are all the photos that I have saved that Dennis posted. I also included the frequency response model that the tower is based/designed to.

I've been looking at a way to get the most speaker for my limited funds since I upgraded to one of your great amps.
The F328Be would be one of my dream speakers and if I had the money I'd simply order a pair and call it a day but alas, I will never again have THAT kind of money to spend unless I win the lottery.
After lots of reading, correspondence, etc.. I decided to take my meager funds and try my hand at a pretty high end DIY kit.
Assuming my stimulus check arrives so I can pay for it I'll be building a compact tower with Purifi 6.5" x 2 woofers + Satori dome midrange + Bliesma BE tweeter. DIY may be the last thing you want to deal with (considering the amp work you do) but then again.....

Best of luck choosing your pair

This speaker looks very nice. I wonder how it compares to my F228Be. I’ve always said I love the sound of my F228Be but not the looks at $10k MSRP. These speakers are $3k?

They are $3500 I think, he said exact price will depend on shipping costs since they are huge. The most interesting part is this:

"F3 is 24-25 Hz, f6 is 21-22 Hz and f10 is just below 20 Hz. The SPL is 103 dB before BSC effects."

The wood cabinets would look much nicer in my family room than my silver F228Be. The space is much larger than my man cave in basement too. 21 x 19 with 15 ft ceilings vs 16 x 11 with 9 ft ceilings.

These could replace my pride and joy Klipsch Forte II that I bought new in 1993. I no longer like the horn sound but the dynamics and the bass is still pretty impressive. A refined speaker with similar dynamics and possibly bass response would be great improvement. Plus they would look 100x nicer than my wood speakers painted black.

Maybe Dennis will be at Axpona in October - I’d love to hear these speakers.

My ATI 4003 might not be powerful enough but we will see.

The BMR tower is no where close to Klipsch Forte in sensitivity or dynamics, but 200 wpc will make them sing for sure.

The rule here is simple: if you can afford the more expensive speaker, get it. :) There is nothing that the F328Be does worse than its smaller brothers.

No, my motivation is not pure in what I said. I need to sell my review sample of F328Be! :) I will give you a killer price and order another matching one if someone is interested. Start a conversation with me if you are.

Why are you selling them if they are so good?

I believe he only has one speaker.

We are using subwoofers with our F328Bes for music primarily because our room has some steep nulls that we can’t otherwise eliminate. Even 1 sub didn’t solve the problem. Adding a second smaller sub near our listening position eliminated the nulls. Although the second sub is closer to our listening position, it also has about a 14 msec delay because we decided to use a wireless connection as it wasn’t practical to run a wire to the sub. we will have to go back into Dirac Live to see exactly where it put the crossover, but I think it was fairly low. If not for the room, we would be 100% happy with the F328Bes in large mode for music. We plan to use REW to measure the results, but for now we are enjoying the sound so much that we haven’t gotten around to it yet,

Thanks for confirming that one NEEDS dual subs, even with larger (full range) towers like F328Be. I don’t know why people claim dual subs aren’t needed with towers? Have they not measured their in-room-response to see their issues, without subs?

I listened to the 3F and to me they were very bright! Never heard the Revel

Ditto, very bright. And the measurements suggest as much.
