Replacement for Tannoy 632

That is auction is not for the loudspeakers:
"This Auction is for upgrade service for Wharfedale Linton 85 brand speakers. This auction will get you 2 new upgraded superior crossovers.
This auction is for a pair of new crossover"
In Germany though you can sometimes get a used pair for around 600-750€.
But what other passive bookshelf speakers, other than the ones mentioned in the thread so far, for around $600 are there (Elac DBR62 is a spot-on good suggestion), that measure ok and therefore sound ok? I'm having a hard time coming up with any examples right now.
Also, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't search and sort speakers if I go here:

According to a doctrine that's fairly popular here at ASR, get the most neutral* boxes you can find in budget and adjust the sound to taste with EQ. With some patience you should be able to get something like the old Tannoy. Neutral here means smooth FR on- and off-axis.
Finding two models of speaker that each have a characteristic sound (non-neutral) that approximate each other is not so easy. Much easier with EQ. And maybe with experimentation you even find a sound you like more than the old Tannoy.

I'll echo the advice to take a look at the Review Index (search for Recommended in your price range) and to take a little time to read the reviews and understand why they are recommended.
Having said that, the Elac DBR62's are right in your budget and are nice.
Newcomers AsciLabs F6B might just be in budget, Wharfdale Diamond 12.1 are great value.
I don't know what the used market is like for you, or how you feel about used, but Focal Aria 906 are often available for £500 (UK)
Take a little time, read a bit and ask some questions. Speakers can be quite a personal choice

Since a bipolar speaker radiates sound from both its front and rear panels, it should typically be placed a foot or more from the wall behind it and preferably 2 or 3 feet from the side wall. As with many conventional speakers, manufacturers of bipolar speakers usually recommend that they be toed in towards the listening position.
The outputs from a bipolar's rear drivers are reflected from the back and side walls before reaching the listener. The resulting time delay relative to the output of the forward-radiating drivers adds a distinctively spacious quality to the sound as the direct and reflected components mingle in the listener's ears.
Possibly spacious quality. If you like it, I don't know. Maybe you would really like it. Or you thought the sound would be a bit too mushy, too smeared. An ongoing discussion on ASR regarding bipolar speakers, dipoles, omnis and so on about their excellence....or not. That is mostly depending on taste and preference.
Incidentally, in the review below, it is pointed out that they have even FR, low distortion and high sensitivity. Those were nice combinations. Why not. Are they in full working order, if the price of them is good or reasonable then...As I said, why not.

Sorry, I missed it. It was a review of the Eclipse version. The ones in your ad are the ESPRIT version.
Then I don't know, but I guess if the Eclipse is good, you might be lucky, so is the Esprit version. Note a guess on my part.

I tested them, agree with the review - some issues with basses and way not the best mid (vocals, especially women's)
