First make sure there's no difference in signal levels between the two recorded. Lack of level matching is such an easy way of getting a real audible difference and confusing it for something indicating quality.

The discrete nature of the Spakos op amp allows for proper caps to be present, this is discussed at length on the Sparkos site.

That makes zero sense. A back box test doesn't lie. System performance is system performance. Doesn't matter what fancy components you use or don't.

No claims buddy, and thanks for another friendly welcome. This is simple, these op amps are recommended by the manufacturer. Better reverb tails, more focused and warm vocals and tighter bass is not oscillation.

No, that is not oscillation. That is perception. An opamp on its own would not produce anything that fits this description.

On my system the difference is clearly discernable. The files are downloadable and 24/192. You can do all the ABX testing you wish. I am happy, sowhy on Dog's Green Turf am I supposed to test something that is abundantly obvious???

I think it could be beneficial for you to explore more about the field of psychoacoustics and why we are best off comparing these things blind. Understanding these concepts might offer you new insights and perspectives that could change how you view your current claims.

I listened to the sample by the You Tuber Vitual HiFi first. The Sparkos matched what I wanted to mod in my amps, and it did so perfectly. The vid is to share that experience in practice.

This kind of comparison is typically not going to be very convincing or useful. Give it a try with some basic controls.

Nobody is saying you don't hear a difference. I believe you when you say you hear a difference. The real question is if the difference is really there.

when you have the same results in a ABX test, i'll believe the differences are real for you and even outside your head. Simply that.
