Rega Planar 3 - Would I Hear The Difference?

This and/or a heavy base for the TT. Never put it on a piece of furniture alone.
In some cases a lightweight table will suffice on a concrete floor (especially if the turntable has some kind of suspension). A heavy base under a Rega may make it sound worse. Solid wall mounting is the way to go there, or the old bicycle tyre trick. I believe the Fluance is similarly unsuspended.

Rega's own wall shelf works fine, but is expensive.

It was far less expensive originally but many audio-stand fabricators seem to have gone now.

I have an isolation base from Fluance (adds 10# to the setup - has fancy silicone feet) under the TT. It’s done little to nothing to dampen the resonances… I previously had the setup on a table with a thick marble top. Same issue. I’ve even tried cork “feet” under the table as decouplers (so that’s cork feet -> wood table -> marble -> silicone feet -> isolation base -> etc) and still I was getting resonances. So far I’m still looking for a solution… I’d move the marble top onto entertainment center if I thought it’d make a difference, but I don’t think it would. The tonearm just picks up any vibrations like crazy. Unfortunately, the shelf would interfere with my TV cables and frankly I’m not convinced the vibrations wouldn’t transverse the wall as well… So it’s not an easy solution… Thank you for the reply.
