Things that struck me:

Discussion of the concert hall
Extensive use of the Merging Technologies ecosystem for recording along with Digico for the PA
Calibrating time delay between microphones then putting that delay into each respective microphone input
Musicians-only stream archive immediately available
Processing retake inserts - the main take is live with audience, the retake is in an empty hall
Conservative microphone choice, monitor choice
Features of the hall for hanging microphones
Live performance releases vs recording sessions
Cleaning up noise
The historical archive of the BSO
Excellent relationship with the musicians

They demonstrate the value of long hours over years of listening experience.
