@OP even if you are not ripping CDs, this is copyright infringement (full songs or short clips, doesn't really matter) and your YT channel is going to get shut down eventually. Not saying this to be rude, just hoping to save you some trouble.

Even if you could argue fair use in court, YT / Google don't care and will pull your channel anyway.

If you want to demonstrate your system on YT you need to use music that is properly licensed. You can find stuff e.g. on Free Music Archive or similar sites.

All my videos are listed as Restrictions : copyright claim

The Content ID claim on your video doesn't affect your channel. This is not a copyright strike.

Oh right, YT lets you do that as long as you don't mind letting the $$ go to the labels. I'm dumb, never mind, carry on.

Still sounding very trebbly / light on bass to me.

I'm no recording expert though so no idea what to suggest to improve this.

It does sound dreadful doesn't it? There's clearly a bunch of things not working for him, tiled floor, placement, phase issues etc.

All I know is it isn't that hard (and shouldn't be that hard) to capture a decent rendition of what your system sounds like in your room.

My little handheld Tascam does a creditable job.

What is the microphone holder you are using?
Looks like a Saramonic stereo mic bar.
