Recommended source setup for desktop with subwoofer? And how to connect it all/what accessories to get?

sadly nope!

I'd like to though ahah
Looks like the F6B is gonna be available to order in December, so I’ll give it a shot.
Once I get it, I’ll compare it with my LS50 Meta and Reference 1 Meta.
I’ll also try listening at a super short distance like 50 cm.

i got the adam audio t5v, and holy moly even these feel a bit too big lmao, no way would the f6b and stuff have fit properly

would love to hear your thoughts on those speakers but tbh i feel like it'll be a wash. Both the LS50 Meta and F6B aim for neutral sound with narrow but constant dispersion

reference 1 is a bit wider i think

F6B and LS50 Meta feel kinda similar overall, but I think the F6B has a bit narrower dispersion in the mids, so it might sound a little cleaner.
Compared to the Reference 1 Meta, the DI and EIR look close, but the on-axis / horizontal / vertical shapes are different enough that they’ll probably have their own vibe.
As a KEF fan, the F6B looks like a non-coax speaker that still sorta behaves like a KEF, so it feels familiar but also a bit different. Could be fun to try.

And hey, you grabbed the T5V? Nice. Even amirm liked that one.
How’s it treating you so far?

yeah the f6b looks like a non-coax kef/genelec/neumann due to the constant directivity

haven't gotten the chance to listen to these speakers too much, still concerned about positioning, they're on my desk with some pucks underneath them. I don't really hear much below 100 hz for some reason. I'm using Amir's EQ and it sounds bloody brilliant above 1khz. Only got a 2 hour session but it instantly felt "right". The buzz is audible if i focus on it and put my ears closer than my listening position but i dont really care about it. I'm just wondering how i can fix the low end. Dont wanna have to spend any more rn, gonna get the UMIK-1 and Speedwoofer 10e far later. Gonna play around with positioning.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the mids and highs of the T5V.
Compared to headphones, the low end from speakers without a subwoofer will naturally feel much lighter, so your impression is actually pretty normal.
Keep experimenting, and if you discover anything interesting, let me know.

no it's just poor acoustics im sure. Probably the desk bounce is messing things up. I just did the spinorama eq, only the bass one, a peak filter at 48 hz 3 db gain. Suddenly everything is beautiful now. The speaker CAN do it, it just was not able to. I also need to position it closer to the walls ig? I'll experimenting more but apart from eq i don't hear much of a difference with different positions lol

Something like moving the speakers a little closer to the wall could be worth trying.
A UMIK-1 would definitely help down the line too. Speakers have way more variables than headphones, so it can feel a bit overwhelming, but try to enjoy the experimentation.
