Recommendation Hugo 2 and headphones

Hi to everyone, I like to buy a dac and a headphone.

I'm thinking about a Chord Hugo 2, but I don't know which headphones are a good match.

If someone has other dac recommendation, please share your opinion.

Hi @bluegene! Welcome to ASR.

The Hugo 2 is a terrible choice if you're after the best sound quality for your money.

There are plenty of DAC+Amps from JDS, SMSL, Topping etc that cost one tenth as much and quite literally sound exactly the same.

Those would leave you with an extra two grand which you can either spend on better headphones, where you can actually see returns in sound quality, or simply pocket for future endeavors.
