Recommendation for super small PC speakers (nearfield)

Looks like a mini DIN 4 pin power or 4 pin power DC cable to me; also the bottom pins are slightly closer together. This plug also has the correct tabs and a push pad on the barrel

I think it's a Kycon connector which is rated for higher power than a DIN connector.

Why couldn't you use a twin cable? Many active speakers do use them to pair the main speaker to the other one.
Well... there's that subtle difference between active and powered speakers.
Powered = one power amplifier per speaker, conventional passive crossover. Twin lead works for those just fine.
Active = line-level analog or DSP-based crossover, individual power amplifiers for each speaker driver (or group of drivers). For a 2-way system, that already means two twin lead wires. Neither of which should be connected out of phase and/or to the wrong driver (which, knowing humans, is 100% going to happen). I remember some mini component systems from the '90s doing this, but it's not exactly dummy-proof.

EDIT: Seems like it's called a 4 pin aviation connector, but it's hard to find actual cables made from them.
It looks like some variation on a GX12-4 or GX16-4, but rather more consumer-grade.
Maybe something like this then?
Or this:
This stuff is apparently called "Power-DIN". Told you they wouldn't reinvent the wheel.
"Very common for Chinese external harddrive power supplies"

I felt like the imaging was nice but not perfect. And why is that? BECAUSE I INVERTED THE DAMN SPEAKERS!

The active speaker actually goes to the right, and the passive one to the right. After inverting them, the sound is so damn better! I realized the problem when listening to a music I really like, and an instrument ended up appearing on the right side where it was supposed to be on the left.
I have, in fact, wished for an easy way of reversing left and right channels in speakers like this before. I'm left-handed and as such would prefer having the volume control on that side. Easy enough when using RCAs or other single analog connectors, not so much with Toslink, USB or BT.

i surprised how good are Edifier M60 i use dts x headphones with senheiser hd650 profile and FXSound app found Eq on forum which like is EmotionEQ Relaxed that short i make drastically improved sound quality. They sound best with usb c cable when dont use the FX sound is 24bit/96khz when use Fxsound is 24/48khz in usb c mode hope u guys tried this think make speakers sound crazyy and to say buy and Dolby only DTS is much better

So, I've had the speakers for a bit more than 2 weeks now. My impressions evolved quite a bit after the honeymoon phase.

These are really nice speakers, and I do think they punch above their price point and size. But you also need to be aware these are pretty neutral speakers (at least to my ears), which makes them pretty agressive in the treble if you're very sensitive to it (like me).

I ended up doing two things to improve the sound for my tastes: plugging the backports with foam to reduce bass emphasis, which made the overall sound clearer, and play with the app's EQ to increase bass and mids and reduce treble. +1dB up to to the 4 kHz band and -1 dB from 8 kHz. Not a big change but it sounds much better to my ears now - quite a bit more muffled, but also less fatiguing, and I can now listen to the speakers for longer. The slight bass boost makes the speakers sound warmer (which I like) and the boosted mids make the sound detach more from the mix, which is also nice to me.

So overall pretty happy with these M60, just have to keep in mind these are not warm speakers unlike what I'm used to.

(for reference I've been using a Sony WH-1000XM3 - very bass-y headphones -, a Meze Empyrean - warm headphones -, an HD 58X with an Alex Cavalli CTH tube amp - so pretty warm as well - hence my preferences I guess)
