Recommendation for Bluetooth headphones for music and Teams with ANC

Hi all,

I'm working in a noisy environment (open room, open space). I'm essentially having business meetings with Microsoft Teams. I'm using a Plantronics Focus as my main headphone and an Anker Q30 for listening music or white noise to cover my coworkers voices. The main drawbacks of my Focus are: not over the ear and mic is getting environment noise.

I'd like to enhance my equipment, so I'd like a recommendation for:

  • a good Bluetooth headset: over the ear, ANC, good mic to get my voice only (so for me it rules out headsets having no external mic like Sony MX or Bose QC35), good for music (no audiophile though)
  • or a cabled one (with a detachable one however)

I was wondering if gaming headsets could fit the bill, but I've noticed they don't offer ANC.

Budget: less than 300 € ( = 300 US$ more or less).

Thanks for your help.

Here's a comparison table from rtings with wireless, over ear, noise isolating headsets with boom mic. Feel free to compare the microphone samples:

Looks like Sony's new Inzone H9 might fit the bill.

Note that there are also wireless, over ear, noise isolating headsets with removable boom mic. While the mic's noise rejection is similar, the headset itself won't isolate you from noise as well due to a lack of ANC:

Thanks for your information.

Generally speaking, are the gaming headsets recommended for VoIP or videoconferencing ?
