Hi. I have a Sennheiser HD560s headphone that I am very satisfied with. The only correction I apply is a slight increase in bass, to have a more "full-bodied" reproduction, but I often do without it. I ask friends on the Forum for advice on a headphone that has the same substantially neutral sound signature, but with a pinch of extra bass, so as not to be forced to make adjustments. If necessary, I could also accept a pinch of extra treble, but without this causing sibilance. Maximum price around €350.
Many thanks.

Sigh* Another seeker of flat response, whatever that is. Nearly all headphones need PEQ/EQ. It's normal to add a touch of spice. Adjust the PEQ to your hearts desire and don't be shy about adding this and that.

I haven't heard the HD 560S (I have a Hifiman HE400SE and a Sennheiser HD 700, both with EQ).
When I don't mind using closed backs, the AKG K371 are very good for the things you were asking (strong bass response, clear but not beyerdynamic-like treble).

If you want an open-back, then the only one I can recall that has a reasonable FR with some extra bass would be the Fiio FT3

Could the Sennheiser HD 620S be the headphone I'm looking for? Amirm gave a pretty good review. Has anyone used them and can give me a review?
Another candidate could be the Fiio FT1 Pro? Looking for opinions.

Are you using PEQ/EQ?

It's also worth getting a 7Hz Zero 2 or similar modern IEM if you haven't tried those.

Only Wavelet. I only listen via DAP. No PC.
Wavelet appears to have presets EQ settings and manual EQ settings. Are you using the EQ to it's full potential or are you limiting the use by only adding bass? I ask because you can do anything you like with it. For example this is my PEQ settings for my Sennheiser HD 598SR.

I only use Wavelet, because I find its adjustments very simple and I don't have the patience to fiddle with equalizer sliders, even if they are digital.
The adjustments I use with Wavelet are:
AUTOEQ: obviously selecting the specific setting; VIRTUALIZER: 25%; BASS TUNER: Bass type: natural, Cutoff frequency: 100 Hz, post gain: 3dB.
When I use them I can't imagine a better sound.

If you don't get accustomed to using the EQ then you will be chasing new headphones looking for a sound. Near all headphones need EQ and your ears do too.

But if I found the right headphones, I could do without the EQ.

I see you use PEQ from PC.
I really appreciate your advice, but as I wrote before, I don't listen to headphones through PC, but with DAP or smartphone, because I like to sit comfortably on a sofa.

If you use a Android smartphone EQ/PEQ is available.

In fact, on my smartphone I use Neutron player in which I activate a 10-band PEQ and then use the first four and the last. I find the result very satisfying. Perhaps my desire to find a headset that avoids this need does not exist, because as you say: "Near all headphones need EQ and your ears do too".

There are issues with system-wide PEQ solutions on Android, it seems only Rootless JamesDSP accurately applies EQ, but for some reason requires BW=1 (instead of 1.89) for the shelf filters to have same FR as with Q=0.71.

Wavelet and Poweramp Equalizer app are not WYSIWYG when it comes to the change in FR.

I did some experimentation after hearing a difference in sound with Poweramp EQ vs the bult-in one in Neutron, and it led me to experiment a bit and post my findings there:

Have you found something that you like ?

I'm looking for a Harman Compliant, Approx. 100ohm impedance headphone to use with my Analog sources. I like 7Hz crinacle IEM but I can't share it with family. Something like in the form factor of Sony MDR 7506 and with a similar ribbon cable but with performance/characteristics of 7Hz is what I'm after.
