Never looked at these before - $40 for a voltage divider, 4 cheapo resistors! Hopefully you can find better for less money.

Not sure. It's a Hypex ncore nc252mp. It's not bridgeable if that means anything.Do you know if your speaker amp is single ended or bridged? The sort of attenuator pjug linked will work for single ended outputs (the majority of amps) but with bridged amps they may short one of the outputs to ground. Attenuators for these use 4 resistors per channel.
Checking the nc252mp datasheet (I have revision 4) section 10 shows how to bridge the outputs. If you're using it as a stereo amp then it's single ended - the speaker -ve is at signal ground. If it's a mono amp then the manufacturer has presumably assembled it bridged. Not sure. It's a Hypex ncore nc252mp. It's not bridgeable if that means anything.
So I should be okay using that speaker level adapter?Checking the nc252mp datasheet (I have revision 4) section 10 shows how to bridge the outputs. Stupid question, why aren't you trying to split signals at preamp level, ahead of the power amp?
Ha ha - pure genius. Money saving too.Stupid question, why aren't you trying to split signals at preamp level, ahead of the power amp?
