Get planars for good bass. In that price range, the DCA Aeons are well regarded. Perhaps Aeon 2 Noire.

Have you tried EQ with your headphones? HD600 would take a good bass boost.
I'm using HD6XX with Oratory's EQ profile and is an amazing improvement especially in bass vs stock.

The DCA Aeons are normally excellent choices. However, OP's headphone amplifier, the RNHP, could only provide 280 mW @ 33 ohms in Amir's test. It is probably insufficient for power hungry headphones such as the Aeons, especially when OP likes to listen to metals and EDM.
