Raspberry pi jitter

Do I need to worry about jitter from my raspberry pi running roon to my su-8 v2 over usb? (I've heard jitter is bad on rpi) Or, is this a non-issue?

I'd like to know too with objective evidence. My subjective ears seem to think it is a problem.

Allo sells a lot of USBridge devices as a much better than RPi USB streamer. I own one and have to agree; the RPi's USB out seems harsh and edgy by comparison. Downside tho is I dont have a single dac that usbridge supports at max bitrate. So that is annoying and I never use it as a result.

Also, is there an advantage to spdif over usb? I have a digi+ clone hat I could use.
