I had some old acoustic research speakers with crossovers you could modify on the speaker.
They were pretty remarkable. I have no idea what happened to them. They were amazing.
absolutely trashed on the outside but they filled a big room.

I had a friend with concert stacks,a Bang & Olufsen with the early cd player and 2 bass guitar amps to drive the stacks. It was my introduction to audio. I remember being asked if a CD sounded better. My response was, of course, you can't hear the record. No pops, hiss, needle sound. You could hear the music.

Other than that I remember listening to 8-track in my dad's gran torino. Pretty sure that doesn't count.

I forgot the Yamaha ns1000m.
They should be some where in between nr.5 & 6 me thinks.
Not that impressed by them, I think they are over hyped.
