Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2 - Purifi based compact speaker

FWIW Henz, I like them - gives it a touch of the art deco! (Paul's an old fuddy-duddy and remembers art deco from the first time around ;) )

You know me so well Steve.

Anything other than a flat black sheet of card I consider Baroque.

The price was high for the 6.2 as well, as 3,900 euros for a pair of bookshelf speakers is not a small amount. And the price is also steep for this new speaker, in my opinion. I was waiting for the tower version, and I will try giving it a listen. I was hoping for something in the 6k–7k euros region.
It's 3.998 € for a pair for Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2, so I think 7.998 € for the Clarity 66 is not that far from the price you had hoped for, right?

Personally I really like the look including the lower baffle front. I'm not a big fan of the construction of the feet. Not quite as bad as with the KEF R series floorstanders, but there will still be a pulling force on the screws that go into the cabinet. I would have preferred a fixed connection between both rails.

The feet are actually not mounted directly to the MDF cabinet, but into a 6 mm steel plate which makes sure the bottom of the speaker is reinforced and therefore extremely stiff. The pull from the feet should therefore not go into the cabinet.

Good to hear that, @henz.

Definitely a better construction than the R7 and E11 then (the lighter R5 might get away with this).
