Question magnetic drivers in phones kz

KZ EDC Pro and EDX Pro headphones use magnetic dynamic drives, if these headphones come close to equipment that emits magnetism, for example a 29" CRT TV, will this damage the magnetic drivers of these headphones? Demagnetize or damage bass and treble

I'm pretty sure you need a very strong magnetic field to demagnetize something. Also, AFAIK magnets are a risk to the CRT, not the other way around.

No it won't.

The electromagnets that 'bend' the electron beams are in the back of the tube (at the neck) so there is a substantial distance between those coils and the front of the screen so very little magnetic 'energy' is present at the front of the screen. That magnetic field is not very high anyway.

Now... the other way around (dangling the IEMs in front of the screen against the screen) may well temporarily bend the electron beams and possibly even (temporarily) magentize the mask near the front of the screen. This can result in 'color spots' that have the wrong color.
This may even remain a little even after the IEMs have been removed right up to the point where the monitor has been switched off and on again (after 15mins or so) and the demagnetizing coil around the mask has been activated again.

So no worries for the IEMs even when kept against the monitor but I would not advice anyone to hold things with magnets very close to a CRT simply because they might locally magnetize the mask in the the CRT screen causing 'color spots'.

And does this demagnetization cause a loss of performance in the headphone drivers?
 
When you are listening or wearing the iem’s just try and avoid putting your head through the 29” crt screen

It's just not that easy to demagnetize a magnet (or to magnetize one).

FYI - Almost ALL speakers/headphones/IEMs use magnetic drivers. Usually they are called dynamic or electrodynamic drivers.

Dynamic microphones use the same principal with the magnet and coil working like a generator rather than a motor.

There used to be magnetically shielded computer speakers. But like solderdude says, that was to keep the speaker from messing-up the video image, not because the CRT will damage the speaker. Since CRTs have become obsolete I don't see shielded speakers anymore.

There is a possibility of partially erasing audio tapes and floppy discs by setting them on top of a CRT monitor.
 
I thought about this because I read that HDD hard drives demagnetize near devices that have magnetic influence such as 29" CRT TVs with their coils and speakers, so I thought the same could happen with the magnetic driver of the KZ EDC Pro and KZ EDX Pro.

The recorded data can get corrupted, not the magnets in the actuator assembly.

I think I know what’s going on, you’re stuck in a boot loop.

Press and hold your power button for 5 seconds till you hear 3 beeps in quick succession, let go of your power button and count to 10 seconds then switch yourself back on.

This should clear your posting issues

Really probably nothing will happen to the IEMs or discs.

Think about what happens if you put two strong magnets together and take them apart. They still work fine. The magnets inside speakers and IEMS are pretty strong for their size.

I have never heard of discs being demagnetized by headphones or speakers, but if you're concerned just don't put them in the same bag.

The little bit of magnetic leakage from those sources is vastly too small to have any effect on a driver of any type. If that does scare you, then the earth's magnetic field, which is stronger than those sources, should be of much greater concern. Hint: It's not.

There's a special protection circuit in the dual magnetic dynamic driver of the In-Ear KZ EDC Pro or KZ EDX Pro which is deactivated if you repeatedly ask the same questions about the dual magnetic dynamic driver of the In-Ear KZ EDC Pro or KZ EDX Pro.
Once it's deactivated the dual magnetic dynamic driver of the In-Ear KZ EDC Pro or KZ EDX Pro is prone to being damaged if the dual magnetic dynamic driver of the In-Ear KZ EDC Pro or KZ EDX Pro is located close to a 29" CRT TV or 2.5" HDD .

Note the above is only applicable for 29" CRT TV or 2.5" HDD, if it's not a 29" CRT TV or 2.5" HDD and instead is say a 32" CRT TV or 9.5" HDD then you'd better start a different thread
 
i not trolling i am serious

I just had this doubt because HDDs have many demagnetization problems if stored near magnetic sources

but in the case of in-ears (for example EDX Pro and EDC Pro) they have magnets and I don't know what disturbances or conflicts between the magnetism of the 29" CRT TV and the HDDs x in-ear magnets are caused by them being very close

Then why do you repeat your misconception after it had been answered?

Permanent magnets are, well, permanent.
