Now that I have Spotify lossless, I went in this morning to edit my personal Pipewire configuration file to allow for higher bitrates beyond 44100. Saved that and restarted.

Now when I use the pw-top command in terminal, I see this active runtime info (summarized):

R50 ID - Quant 2048, Rate 48000, S32LE 2 48000 alsa_output usb-schiit...analog.stereo

R69 ID - Quant 8192, Rate 44100, F32LE 2 44100 +spotify

I am not sure what this is telling me. What I am playing in Spotify currently tells me it's streaming at 24-bit 44.1 FLAC. Is that the same quality that is being sent to my DAC by Pipewire?

The music data itself is lossless, but PipeWire is resampling it to 48 kHz before it reaches your DAC.
You should let PipeWire switch rates automatically, to so do you should set your PipeWire config so the sink follows the stream rate:

default.clock.allowed-rates = [ 44100 48000 88200 96000 ]
default.clock.rate = 44100

And disable forced resampling.

I don't see how to disable forced resampling in the config file...?
