I am currently looking to buy a used Scarlett 3rd Gen and am not sure if its functionality, especially routing, is equivalent to Gen 4, and sufficient for my needs. Perhaps some owners can give me feedback.
Focusrite Control 2 is supposed to be currently supported on Gen 3 in Beta. Have you tried it? If so, does it work without issue?
What does your Focusrite Control software look like? Especially the Routing tab. I wonder if it has the same or similar functionality as I know from Control 2 on Gen 4. Would appreciate some screenshots.
