Hi guys! I bought PreSonus Eris E 3.5 (not BT) and noticed that when listening to music at maximum volume after 30 minutes they started to heat up, and the speakers started to fart with other monitors, another company, there was no such problem. I decided to test them in other places, with other wires, still the same problem. I decided to change them in the store, but the problem remained. I know that they can not be listened to at maximum volume, because they are class AB and not D, and I was also told that they are "small". And here I have a question, PreSonus Eris E 4.5 is also class AB, but did you have such problems that at maximum volume after 40 minutes of listening to music where there is a lot of distortion they began to fart and heat up a lot? There is simply an option PreSonus Eris E5 BT pair, where class D, but it is expensive.

the speakers started to fart
I can't help but feel we have a translation issue happening here...

I can only guess you're pushing the speakers too hard for too long, if they're heating up substantially.

This is literally trueThey fart

I had mackie crx-4bt, edifier mr4 but even when listening for more than an hour nothing heated up and nothing wheezed. But I know that they are more multimedia speakers, and they are larger in size. Therefore, I ask presonus 4.5 will also have such problems as presonus eris 3.5 when listening to music for a long time or not
