Qudelix 5k will not connect to A&K A70 2 by usb or bluetooth

Have just bought 5K installed app on I phone 13, works via that , tried to connect to my Astell and Kearn A70 mk 2 via usb C to micro usb cable. the A&K just closes down and restarts, also won't connect over Bluetooth, checked cable it connects to a laptop fine, and shows files, so cable is data, 5k is connected to i phone by usb, 5k is set to prioritise usb in app, so what is going on. Thanks for replies in advance.

Quick update, now got it connected via Bluetooth, was a case of digging into settings on A70, the A70 2 does APTX HD, so i wonder with my age 75, if i will here difference, i would like to get this sucker connected USB though, just cos its defeated me, USB is set to PCM on A70

Try another cable. Not all cables are made equal, especially in the USB realm. USB-IF certification is, usually, a must when dealing with data transfer.
