Hi hoping someone is able to clarify a question i have that might allow me to eliminate a device from my chain. I currently have the WiiM mini streamer that I use for Qobuz connected to a miniDSP flex for preamp/dsp duties then to an Audiolab 6000A using as a power amp but I wondered whether I could instead use the Qobuz Android TV app on Sony A95L and pass bit perfect audio directly from the TV to the minidsp vs optical cable?

Most likely your Android TV has fixed digital output sample rate (48 kHz) and apps are not allowed to bypass the OS audio mixer.

Yea I'm worried that's the case! Has anyone on here with A95L tested this? Hopefully Qobuz rolls out the connect feature to the Android TV soon so can pass the signal to the WiiM if that's the case as ultimately my aim is to show the now playing album art on the TV without losing bit perfect playback and cherry on the cake would be the ability to search Qobuz library on the TV with Harmony remote instead of phone

Is the usb audio pro app available on your TV? I think that might be bit perfect over individual outputs and can handle toslink.

Unfortunately not, at least not natively, I know it's possible to download an apk and sideload it but then becomes a bit of a PITA having to use a mouse to control the app so keen to avoid that approach
