I have used, very successfully - Sylomer in several Studio constructions. Even more important is that it doesn't deterioate with age. I have samples from about 2000 that, though discolored, over time - have the same viscosity that they had, when I purchased the sheets. If one rests an entire control room on Sylomer, that's good to know.

The Mogami AES/SBU pictured is about £30 for five metres so not dissimilar in price ,Neutrik connectors and guaranteed for life.
We don’t actually sell cable but Van Damme or Mogami is my recommendation.

I didn’t realize that, I expected Mogami's to be at least 4 times as expensive as the Hosa ones, as the ones I found on Amazon are. It looks like the ones you posted are different cables than the ones on Amazon, but they only sell a couple different Mogami AES cables.

So they'd definitely be worth it if that's the case, but not these...

Looks like these may be the ones you posted. If Amazon had sold those for a similar price I'd definitely have purchased those instead of the Hosas, not because they'd sound any different but because of the Neutrik connectors. Not that I think the Hosa connectors will ever fail, especially since once installed they will rarely if ever be unplugged and plugged back in very often.

AsciLab’s BX8C dedicated cardioid sub-modules for their active cardioid C8C loudspeakers have arrived and together they produce the best sound I have experienced in my largely untreated rom.

All the news that’s fit to print!
This week, mated the BX8C to the C8C’s, on their own the AsciLab’s C8C ( active cardioid ) are superb but together they become the ‘ultimate’ loudspeaker.
Completely full-range cardioid down to 40Hz , there are three pre-configured presets, ‘extended cardioid;, ‘normal’ 50Hz cardioid and ‘max SPL’ self explanatory!
In terms of sound quality, in my room they are in the all-time top two, alongside GGNTKT’s M3.
in terms of value for money they are on their own, the C8C/BX8C combination retails for £10500 inc vat and delivery.
It’s nearest ‘rival’ the Kii THREE/ BXT over three times the price and nowhere near as good.
All of the AsciLab range from the smallest F6BS ( £700 per pair inc vat) to the C8C/BX8C available for evaluation at Purité Audio London now.

All the NEWS that’s fit to print and some that isn’t!
Obviously there is far less interest in Hi-FI during the summer months, but a very nice chap visited yesterday to listen to the C8C/BX8C versus GGNTKT M3, he preferred the M3s 1-0 to Germany ( more than England could manage last evening ) and found the C8C a touch too ‘analytical’!
