I am the OP. What did he ignore?
Brutally honest here? You are being too sensitive. You should see the personal attacks on the Internet. That was at worst, a mild implication. I think it's more about your proposal being received with skepticism.I am not complaining. I made a good faith proposal and sure there are different opinions but aren't personal attacks prohibited?
?...aaannnd you go on ignore
smowry
If You click on the Avatar name, let's say under the feet of the dog of @Mort on Mort, a window opens, where You can select 'ignore'.
He simply asked what 'ignore' means ... he's Engineer, You know ...smowry
You will not get displayed 'ignore' on Your own profile@Salt,
I don't see it and the edit bar at the top of my comment windows; it is disabled. Am I being punished? Below is what I see when I click on smowry. I am using the Chrome browser.

That's not strictly correct. "Trans" as a prefix means across, beyond, or "on the other side of".I use the term "trans" when something can go both ways. For example, a USB interface IC is called a transceiver because it can both receive and transmit data.
When a device is distinctly one-directional, I don't use the term transceiver which literally means, transmit and receive.
