there is no better place to go than Miguel Rios and Waveform Tuning (that is NOT to say that other capable installers and tuners are not as capable, but just that Miguel IS!!)
OK, let me tell you that i pretty much G U A R A N T E E that a statistical near ZERO percent of people have heard a system like Miguel's. it is stupendous! if someone has not had full body impactful dynamics that are not just "loud" but OBJECTIVEY LIFE-LIKE SOUNDING, you have not heard a true reference system before. his home reference is unlike anything i have heard, having been to many home stereo shows, shops, homes etc. it is ... staggering! i won't describe it further because words are simply not enough. it must be heard to be believed. if this is his reference for the dynamics, impact and tonality in cars (given that cars have inherent limitations for imaging) and that this is also his imaging reference, i cannot believe there are more than a literal handful of people around that can realistically say that they have a true reference system, actually know how to tune (and understand levels, delay, dynamics, phase and group delay) and are willing to help you get your car (or home) system up to snuff.
Miguel was incredibly gracious, fun, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and all around great. you owe it to yourself to listen to his home reference system and that will tell you everything you need to know about his thoughts and ideas in potentially tuning your system at home (or even in a car) or taking his feedback seriously!
