Hello! I have a Rode AI-1 interface. The STM32 controller burned out recently. There is no Rode service in our area. But I understand electronics myself. And I changed the STM32 controller. The interface worked, but the computer does not detect it as a Rode AI-1. It is necessary to load the Rode AI-1 firmware into the controller. Maybe someone has such firmware? Or is it possible to remove the firmware from the working interface? Thank's.

Dumb question, but have you asked RØDE whether they could supply you with a preprogrammed chip? Pro audio companies tend to have fairly high standards in terms of customer service. The STM32 supports readout protection, and unless the developers were feeling very charitable it is likely to be enabled.

Thanks for the answer. Yes. I wrote to support. They replied that they don't have firmware available at the moment. And "if there was a Warranty on the AI-1, since you've opened it and attempted repairs on your own, the Warranty is now void". I understood that anyway. I'll try to ask them for a chip. They'll probably refuse. So I'm still looking for firmware.
