Need help please :(
I have just reasontly purchased the fiio K13 R2R but i keep getting an OVEREER error when i connect my Fiio FT3 headphones!
Please could anyone help me with this and guide me in the right direction nfor the settings i need to change on the K13?
I am a total noob at this kind of thing

Googling, give the following answer:
"The "OVEREER" (over-current or over-voltage/load) error on a headphone amplifier, notably reported on devices like the FiiO K13 R2R, typically triggers when using a balanced 4.4mm output at low gain with high volume levels (around 70% or higher) while processing intense, very low-frequency transient signals or heavy bass notes. [1]

Causes of the Error

    • Low-Frequency Load: Heavy bass spikes (20Hz or lower) demand sudden current spikes that can trip protection circuits. [1]
    • Gain and Volume Mismatch: High volume output paired with low gain settings forces the internal amplifier stage to work near its current limits on difficult passages.
    • Impedance Interaction: Driving certain dynamic or planar magnetic headphones via balanced outputs under heavy transients can push the protection thresholds.

Troubleshooting Steps

    • Switch Gain Settings: Raise the gain setting on your amplifier if you listen at high volume levels, reducing stress on the low-gain architecture.
    • Lower the Volume: Keep the digital or analog volume potentiometer below the threshold where the error trips during heavy bass tracks.
    • Check EQ/Bass Boost: Disable any hardware or software bass boosts that over-amplify sub-bass frequencies into the amplifier stage.

If you'd like, let me know:

  • What headphone model you have connected
  • Which gain setting and connection type (balanced 4.4mm vs single-ended) you are using".
Seem to me you are using the amp with improper settings or load.

Wondering why a guy ask for help, and never read our answers. Such a guy...

Technically this was an interesting case. Too bad we will never find out what happened.
