Presonus Eris Studio 5 vs Presonus Eris E5XT?

Presonus Eris Studio 5 vs Presonus Eris E5XT? Which one has more low frequencies and is better for writing music arrangements and production beats? Which one is better for playing at low and medium volumes? If we compare them with the krk 5g5, which one has more low frequencies? Is it better than the Yamaha ns50?

The -6 dB point seems comparable to the RP5 G4, -10 dB a bit lower (~35 Hz vs. ~40 Hz). I'm guessing the inclusion of a 50 Hz cutoff option made them feel like they could go fairly low by default. The midbass bump seems a bit more pronounced.

The guy in the above video seems to be used to mixing at higher volumes, as the slight overall loudness characteristic of the Studio 5s clearly helped him get the better mix (his E5XT mix sounds kinda V-shaped with wooly low end). I already noticed that they were fairly decent if not entirely neutral monitors on a previoous YT comparison.

Between the two I'd probably go with the overall slightly improved Studio 5s, which seem like perfectly acceptable budget monitors. You should have a (calibrated) measurement microphone to set up the controls on the back and possibly some software parametric EQ, but you pretty much need one of those anyway so that's neither here nor there. It has to be said that the more expensive KRKs with their built-in DSP and display are quite a bit more flexible when it comes to onboard adjustments, so that's your choice. I would expect the Presonus to have more even dispersion outside of nearfield, though the KRKs' is even wider in return and by no means bad to begin with (you almost have to actively try to really mess up a 5"/1").
